Things that Microsoft should address before bombarding the market with Windows 8 – Part 1

Though Microsoft are anxious to release the new operating system, there are certain aspects of the new Windows 8 that make it still a surprise release until its announcement.

The company released the Beta version of the OS in 2011 but the official full-fledged release is expected in the second half of calendar 2012. Many, among me, are waiting for the new Windows to come out and break the duopoly of Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android in the tablet market. But there are certain aspects that the company should address before the release.

The public is waiting for the newest Windows to hit the market as it offers a hybrid concept of both tablet-based interface and the traditional windowed version, best for most of the applications on desktops. However, the release still remains haunted by the fact that in the past Microsoft has squandered the chances of great releases with OS that turned out be not-up-to-the-mark.

However, no matter what Windows brings to the table, it always has been and surely will remain a sweetheart for hackers and viruses. Windows has turned every corner to eradicate the vulnerability to viruses but it has been downed by its competitors in this regard. Linux, Linux-like and Linux-based OS have been dominating the market.

However, Microsoft has always been good at incorporating gismos into the interface. The ease of use has also been their strong suit although Mac OS X is in the leading position but due to licensing to companies like Dell, HP and whatnot, the operating system has surged into more public than Apple could with its expensive devices.
