Whitney Houston to remain a Pop Icon for Generations to come

With all the Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez going on nowadays, most people especially the younger generation has forgotten what a singer really should be like. Looking back at Whitney Houston, who was and will always be one of the greatest singers to have
graced this planet, one can truly be reminded of what real music sounds like.

When a singer is able to touch people from different walks of life in various ways through a single song, despite them liking the genre or not, that is the point when you can truly term a person to be great.

Houston, who was pronounced dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hill on Saturday, certainly shocked the world which had been separated from her for a number of years which finally ended in the worst possible ways.

She added her name on the list of shocking deaths these past few years like Michael Jackson and a number of others.

At the prime age of 48, Whitney Houston left this world for the next after years of emotional torment, depression due to a downfall in her career along with a number of disastrous relationships.

Her drug abuse is currently being termed the cause of death but nothing at the moment can be said for sure.

Releasing her self-titled debut album back in 1985, Whitney Houston set records and topped all of the rankings with 25 million sold worldwide and with ever second period knowing the lyrics to one of her, if not the most famous song, ‘I Will Always Love You’
was a milestone in the music industry that will definitely stay in the hearts of people for generations to come.

Rolling Stone magazine praised Houston, calling her "one of the most exciting new voices in years" while The New York Times called the album "an impressive, musically conservative showcase for an exceptional vocal talent".

While we know that Whitney Houston has gone, her voice will remain a symbol of  love, dedication and hope for many, many years.
