Farah Khan Ali supports Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan

Farah Khan Ali, the daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, has jumped in to support Bollywood heart-throb Saif Ali Khan since she believes Saif is not a person who would ever start a brawl with someone.

Farah thinks there is something missing in the whole scene but it will come out soon. Though Iqbal Sharma, who is an Indian-origin businessman from South African, has stated that Saif started the brawl, Farah reckons it is very unlike Saif.

“Celebrities are often targeted when they are out in public and usually in the company of their woman. Have been witness to one such incident years ago.

“There is something amiss in this incident and I’m sure the facts will come out soon,” she said.

The 41-year-old actor Saif was arrested on Wednesday for having a fight with Sharma at Taj Palace restaurant in Mumbai. The case was booked under section 325 at Colaba police station after Sharma registered a complaint against Saif for allegedly assaulting him.

Saif has now been released on bail but the investigation is still going on, as the CCTV footage has not been found as of yet. Moreover, Saif has filed a counter complaint against Sharma because the actor says it was Sharma who started the ugly brawl.

Saif went in the restaurant with his girl friend Kareena Kapoor and some other friends. However, if reports are to be believed, then the argument started when Sharma complained the management about the noise coming from Saif’s table.

“There was an ugly incident last night (Tuesday) where my friends and the ladies with us were abused and I was assaulted. I was hit and I defended myself,” Saif Ali Khan said in a statement.

“I have been to the police station to answer the requirements of law as I am a law abiding citizen. I have also filed a complaint about what happened last night and I am confident justice will be done,” he said.

Saif Ali Khan was previously arrested in 2008 for assaulting a photojournalist during the shooting of a film. Nevertheless, the actor later on apologized and the case was removed.
