Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan, who have co-produced the much-awaited upcoming Hindi action spy film ‘Agent Vinod’, are pretty confident that the film will do an excellent business at the Indian box office.

This year Karan Malhotra’s ‘Agneepath’, which is the remake of the 1990 cult classic of the same name, is the only movie that has crossed Rs. 100 crore mark at the Indian box office. However, Saif and Vijan are expecting the same from ‘Agent Vinod’.

“The film will be released both in multiplexes and single screens and it has the potential to cross Rs 100 crore in revenue and I look forward to it,” Saif, who was promoting the film, told reporters.

“It will give value for money,” adding, “The film has been produced keeping Indian sensitivities in mind.”

Dinesh in the meantime also shared his thought with the media. The producer insisted ‘Agent Vinod’ is a realistic film but on the same note he said it is larger than life.

Dinesh said, “It is a fun movie with a very Indian hero. The film has been shot keeping Indian sensibilities in mind. It is a realistic film but larger than life.”

“In India we do the stunts and we have good technicians in India. What we need is good writers.”

‘Agent Vinod’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on March 23, 2012, will feature Saif Ali Khan playing a lead role opposite to her real life girl friend and the ultimate diva of Bollywood industry, Kareena Kapoor.

The film has a simple storyline in which an Indian agent is sent on a mission overseas but unfortunately he dies while accomplishing it. Nevertheless, the twist comes in when, before dying, he sends a mysterious massage back to the headquarters suggesting something wrong.

Well, all said and done, seeing the enormous hype among the audiences and publicity, it is fair to say that the film will do an excellent business at the box office.
