Gunners made an epic comeback to crush Tottenham Hotspurs at the Emirates Stadium in the North London Derby on Sunday. They were trailing 0-2 when they fired back and slaughtered Spurs with a spectacular 5-2 score line at their home soil.

After the worst start of the season under Arsene Wenger’s era, Arsenal sought their rhythm few weeks ago when they devastated Blackburn by a 7-1 victory. However, they lost their track again after enduring a crushing 0-4 defeat against AC Milan at San Siro.
Adding further to their misery, Arsenal exited from the FA Cup at the hands of the Black Cats in the Stadium of Lights.

After Chelsea clinched their match against Bolton at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Arsenal fell at number 5 in the Premier League standings. The Invincibles were standing on verge of breaking down as defeat in this match will not only result in failing
to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season but also smash feelings of Gooners.

The Gunners suffered the first blow at the start of the match when Louis Saha shot deflected Thomas Varmaelen, leaving Wojciech Szczesny wrong footed. Few minutes later, Spurs took a 2-0 lead when Emmanuel Adebayor shot the controversial penalty in the left
side after Gareth Bale went down. However, it was still early to say that Spurs bagged the match as from that point onwards Arsenal recreated their old magic and got back in action.

Five minutes to half time, Bacray Sagna brought Gunners back to life by planting a precise header past Brad Friedel. He received a cross from Mikel Arteta and incredibly lowered the trail. Three minutes later, Arsenal’s captain, Robin van Persie, shot a
spectacular goal after picking up the ball on the edge of the penalty area, consequently squaring the scores by 2-2 saving his team before the half-time.
