Pakistan Football Round-up: PFF acquire AFC hosting rights

Newspakistan rounds up all reports surrounding the beautiful game in the country, with the highlight being the AFC Presidents Cup that will be played out in Lahore in May.
Pakistan to host Presidents Cup
The PFF have added yet another feather to their cap, after securing the hosting rights of the group stage for the AFC Presidents Cup this May.
The competition which is cited as one for the emerging nations of Asia, is one of the few avenues where Pakistani football can make its mark and the PFF have brought to it to the Nation after getting the okay from AFC to hold the group stages in Lahore from
8th to the 13th of May.
The Green-Shirts will be represented in the tournament by Tariq Lutfi’s KRL side, who stormed to the Pakistan Premier League title after being a dominant force throughout the season.
AFC U14 Festival committee finalized
Keeping up with things on the continent, the PFF have also finalized the committee for the upcoming AFC U-14 Festival, which is used to enhance the skills of the youngsters, who will be donning the National team jerseys in the future.
With things kicking off from 3rd April, the Federation has announced that Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman will be the Chairman of the local organizing committee, who will oversee the smooth progress of all the processes.
