Movistar will start the marketing campaign for their latest promotional offer for their respective customers by offering them used mobile phones under their newly introduced loyalty policy of their customers.

This initiative has recently been announced by the President of Telefonica in Spain, Luis Miguel Gilpérez.  The president is eager to give better deals to existing customers to come from other companies.

They are offering the gadgets to their different customers especially who have switched from other mobile operators to their respective communication channel.

The program, meanwhile, is offering deep discounts for smart phones (Smartphones) including previously repaired and tested phones. Although the project is expected
to extend the wide range of mobiles and some other devices, they are starting the campaign by offering Samsung Galaxy SII, for only 319 Euros, 40% less than the new one.

Movistar are offering the initiative in 29 outlets across the country, so that the customer can pay cash or can get the products on instalments. The Smartphones are packaged
along with the battery and charger in a box. And they go on sale in the official distribution channels Movistar.

The process begins when a client comes to any Movistar dealer to surrender his old Smartphone, to get up to 245 Euros. The device is sent to a technical inspection centre where
it undergoes a thorough quality control, ranging from the ignition to check the audio through the keyboard and the operation of all phone features.

The department removes the existing software’s from the phone, test the battery and install the latest version of the official software of the phone.

Movistar are rumoured to collect the first breed of phones from Telefonica subscribers in other countries, but once the program will start to reach its peak in Spain, the stock will come from the domestic market.

In that vein, the operator is considering giving gift items to their customers who have a service contract with Telefonica fixed line, ADSL or Imagenio.

Telefonica has reached agreement with financial Finconsum La Caixa. Telefonica, meanwhile, will bear the interest costs of the operation so that the client does not have to pay more.
