Kareena Kapoor will not be seen ‘wearing a bikini’ in ‘Agent Vinod’

‘Agent Vinod’ is the talk of the town at this point in time and the reason behind the film’s enormous hype is obviously the presence of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. However, since Saif recently stated that ‘Agent Vinod’, which is his second home production, is along the lines of some of the films like ‘Bourne’ series, ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ and ‘James Bond’, many out there are wondering whether if they will get to see Bollywood’s ultimate diva, Kareena, in a bikini.

Rumours revolving around were suggesting that Kareena, who previously donned a bikini in ‘Tashan’, will be seen in a skimpy two-piece in the ‘Agent Vinod’ but now the actress has confirmed that there will be nothing of such sort.

When asked, Kareena said, every second girl in the industry is wearing a bikini these days but she has no such plans. The 31-year-old further added that her role in the movie also doesn’t require her to do so.

“Every second girl today is wearing a bikini, so there is no need for my character Simran to wear one too,” said Kapoor.

“She is not your usual Bond girl. Sure, she’s glamorous, but she looks hot and mysterious even when fully clothed in a pair of jeans and a shirt or a full-length gown,” added Kapoor.

‘Agent Vinod’, which is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this year, will hit the cinemas on March 23, 2012 but originally it was set for a release in December last year. It was being said that the film was postponed due to some delay in the shooting. Nevertheless, Kareena has revealed that the film’s delay was intentional.

She revealed, “The delayed release works for us because we’ve had a breather since Ra.One, Mission: Impossible IV and Don 2 that released last year and the audience is now ready for the adrenaline rush of another thriller.”

‘Agent Vinod’ has a simple storyline, in which an Indian spy agent dies while accomplishing a mission overseas but before dying he sends a mysterious massage back to the headquarters suggestive of something wrong.
