Missing Persons’ case; ISI and MI shifts blame onto RAW and Mossad

Islamabad: The counsel for Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) and Military Intelligence has said in the Supreme Court that Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Israel’s Mossad are active
in Pakistan.

He was presenting his view point in the missing person’s case before the apex court.

He said that the above stated foreign agencies, in collaboration with terrorist groups, were involved in kidnapping the common persons.

Responding this new argument which has been coined just today, the chief justice of Pakistan, justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry asked the counsel whether he had credible information of involvement of RAW and Mossad and why didn’t
they not take any action against them. He said, “We did not bar you from taking action against RAW and Mossad.”

The court, however, termed the reply submitted by the intelligence agencies unsatisfactory and took suo motu notice of the abduction of a boy who used to provide food at camps set up by the relatives of missing persons outside
parliament.

The Chief Justice, while heading a three-member bench today directed the Inspector General of Police Islamabad and Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwarul Haq to submit a report of the incident by March 17 and to present the
abductee before the court on March 19.
