Veena Malik: Sachin Tendulkar doesn’t belong to any nation
The Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, who is arguably the greatest batsman ever in the history of the sport, recently made history by scoring his 100th international century on Friday against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup encounter at Mirpur, Dhaka, a record which many think will never get broken, and the controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, has insisted that she was also the one who prayed for his 100th century.
Veena, who rose to fame during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, stated that she is a die-hard fan of Sachin and therefore she is very happy for him. The actor said she is a Pakistani but still she is very excited.
Veena said, “I'm a Pakistani, but I have prayed for a long time for this moment. Sachin Tendulkar doesn't belong to any nation, caste or creed. His game is adored by the cricket lovers all across the world and I am a super-duper fan of Tendulkar! We are blessed to have witnessed the magic of the man because such historical moments happen just once or twice in a lifetime! I'm on top of the world and I want to share my happiness with the world.”
Tendulkar was trying real hard to accomplish the feat of scoring a hundred centuries in the international cricket but he was being unlucky. He got out 23 times in the 90s and perhaps this is a reason why the whole world was anxiously waiting to see this historic moment.
Along with Veena, many other Big names of the Bollywood industry like Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan also congratulated the 38-year-old living legend.
Since Veena has always locked headlines for wrong reason in the country, it can be said that she has given this statement just to gain some media limelight but the milestone which Sachin has achieved is truly a magnificent one and let’s hope now he announces his retirement soon.
