The Hunger Games: Does it live up to the Hype?

One of the year’s most expected movies, The Hunger Games, is now out in the open for all to see and now with its box office smashing performance, does it really live up to the hype is a question that remains to be answered.

First of all, you might not be interested in the movie since by looking at the trailer, it looks like a movie fit for children only, but do not let the previews die down your hopes as it definitely is an all rounder.

The Hunger Games trailer is only a cover of an extremely detailed book which the movie might not have covered entirely like the Harry Potter or Twilight series, but since I have never read it, it did not seem like a requirement for me.

The movie might start of fast and could confuse a lot of those viewers, who like me, have never read the book, but fear not, you will come around to understand what is going on eventually and never want it to end.

Grossing over $150 million in its opening weekend, the Hunger Games has certainly lived up to expectations financially and after watching it, it was unquestionably money well spent.

There are very few movies that actually bring out a unique concept and fresh ideas and even though it was an adaptation of a novel, putting it into film is a whole different story. Those who loved Harry Potter and Twilight will without a doubt like The Hunger
Games and even those who hated the prior mentioned, they will also love it.

The Hunger Games will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout guaranteed.

I give this movie a rating of 9/10.
