Amir Muqam calls on Nawaz Sharif; Joins PML-N

Lahore: Former minister and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam Leader called upon Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and decided to join his party. During the meeting, Muqam expressed full confidence in PML-N’s
policies to steer the country out of the present political, economic and social mess the country is suffering from.

Muqam met Nawaz today at his residence in Raiwind where other important party officials including Shahbaz Sharif, Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi, Zafar Jhagra and Pir Sabir Shah were also present.

According to the sources, besides Muqam, a number of his associates will also formally join the PML-N.

Muqam, who was a prominent PML-Q leader, had difference with Ch. Shujaat over his ex-party joining the PPP led coalition.

Today’s meeting held a day after PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat yesterday sacked Muqam and announced to dissolve the party wing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
