Hrithik Roshan: The action in ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Krrish 3’ is far different

Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan, is on a cloud nine these days thanks to the stupendous success of Karan Malhotra’s film ‘Agneepath’, which is a remake of the 1990 film of the same name. The actor is now working on the much-awaited sequel of ‘Krrish’, which was released on June 23, 2006.

Hrithik wasn’t doing action films until he returned to the genre and provided the industry with this year’s blockbuster, ‘Agneepath’, and since ‘Krrish 3’ is also a full of action movie, many out there have already started comparing both films in terms of their action sequences. However, Hrithik doesn’t want both films to be compared as he thinks the action in Krrish is far different from Agneepath.

He said, “The action in Agneepath and Krissh is far different from each other. It’s like having two genres of action itself. Agneepath was like raw fury unleashed, in terms of hand combat and man-to-man action. It was realistic. Krissh, I think is more of stunts and much more daredevilry and dependent on the camera work than just pure display of physical power. So, in that way I don’t think it’s taking action further from Agneepath as such, just taking action in a different direction altogether and taking it higher literally.”

Nevertheless, the 38-year-old handsome hunk reckons ‘Krrish 3’ might just set the bar higher for action films overall.

I’m not looking at beating anyone in the genre, but yes, I want the audience to enjoy every minute of the film’s action. I’ve always said that I only want to better myself and my aim’s not beating others at the BO. So all I’m trying to do is push the envelope from where I’d last left it,” added Hrithik.

Well, all said and done, the science fiction superhero film ‘Krrish’ rocked at the box office almost 6 years ago but let’s see if Hrithik can once again provide a ‘treat’ to the audiences.

‘Krrish 3’, which is being directed by Rakesh Roshan, will feature Hrithik Roshan in the lead role whereas Priyanka Chopra will play a role opposite to him.
