Timothy Bradley: Manny Pacquiao knows I’m a threat

The Desert Storm, Timothy Bradley has officially started his training camp this week for the biggest fight of his career with the current WBO welterweight champion, Manny Pacquiao, which will take place on June 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and the undefeated junior welterweight champion is fully geared up ahead of his fight.

The 28-year-old American pugilist recently had an exclusive interview with Fighthype, in which he said that the Filipino star has started his training camp earlier this time because he knows I will provide him with the toughest night of his career.

“Pacquiao knows that I’m a threat. That’s why he’s starting camp so early. Pacquiao has been in my shoes before and that’s what it boils down to. He knows exactly what he’s up against,” he explained.

Pacquiao, who is currently rated as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, will enter the ring as a red-hot favorite and Bradley thinks this thing will work in his favour.

Though Bradley admitted Pacquiao is a very good fighter, he insisted that he has the potential to beat him up and match his pace.

He remarked, “All of the pressure is on him because he’s supposed to demolish me. He got all of the pressure on him. That’s why they started camp early.”

“His footwork is very good, and to keep his power as he goes up is unbelievable. But you know, I feel that I am well-schooled and well-trained for angles. There are not too many fighters that can move on angles on me. I cut ‘em off and I’m a student of the game and I think I have the ability to nullify a lot of the things he likes to do,” he added.

The undefeated prospect, Bradley, has never been defeated in the ring as of yet. He holds a perfect record of winning 28 of his 29 professional fights (1 no contest), with 12 of wins coming by the way of a knockout.

However, let’s see if can really shrug off someone who is considered by many as the best fighter on the planet.
