Michael Fassbender all praise for Ridley Scott

‘The Shame’ actor Michael Fassbender has showered praise on Ridley Scott and has hailed him as one of the best directors alive. He insisted that Scott is a complete professional and has the quality of getting the most out from his actors.

The actor added that Ridley Scott constantly comes up with some great and creative ideas and improvises everything with élan. He insisted that he has had a wonderful time shooting for ‘Prometheus’ with the director and is confident that the film will be liked by the audience.

“He’s just so precise and fun and mischievous and just full of interesting and quirky ideas for the character. They come to you in passing, but then he lets you run with it, and there’s a lot of freedom there,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

On the other hand, Ridley Scott denied his film’s comparisons with Alien and admitted that only the basic idea is identical otherwise the movie has a totally different story. He is excited ahead of the release of the film and is hopeful that it will perform well at the Box office.

“This takes place in the same universe as Alien but it stands on its own as a story. There’s moments where you see connections if you’re looking for them, but the story is not leaning on what came before. There are strands of Alien DNA in there, if you will,” the director added.

Prometheus will release on June 8 in the United States and is the prequel the film ‘Alien’. It stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce in important roles.
