David Haye and Dereck Chisora nowhere near to Mike Tyson

Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Mike Tyson, who holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles, claims he took boxing into a darker place than David Haye and Dereck Chisora did when they came down to blows at a press conference last month in February.

The American legend, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, now 45, remained under a lot of serious controversies during his career. He was sentenced a three-year jail term and he also bit off Evander Holyfield’s ear while he was having a fight with him.

Haye and Chisora fought each other in front of the world’s media and WBC doesn’t want them to be in the sport now. However, Tyson thinks they should get another chance.

Tyson remarked, “What David Haye did in Munich when he had that brawl with Dereck Chisora, that was not good. That was the kind of stupid stuff I once did – I thought that when I was watching it. No-one did as much as me to bring boxing low.

“Haye and Chisora would have to go some to beat what I did. At least Haye didn’t bite anyone’s ear off. They’ve got to do a bit more to get down to the level I was at.”

The Klitschko brothers, Vitali and Wladimir, are currently ruling the heavyweight division by all means but many out there doesn’t like them since they believe there style of fight is boring.

Nevertheless, Tyson has a different opinion about the Ukrainian giants. Tyson while sharing his thoughts stated Klitschko brothers should get all the appreciation in the world because it is not their fault that there is no one out there to give them any competition.

“The Klitschkos are doing great,” Tyson told the Mirror. “They are beating everyone. It’s not their fault that there is not enough competition.”

WBC stripped off Chisora’s licence as a punishment but no charges were brought against Haye since he officially announced his retirement in October last year.

Well, let’s see if WBC really gives Chisora another chance to step in the ring.
