Federal Cabinet reshuffled

The Federal  government on Wednesday allotted ministries to newly inducted members of the Federal Cabinet, besides changing the portfolios of some of the sitting ministers.

The President of Pakistan, Asif Ali zardari administered oath to five Federal Ministers and 10 Ministers of State separately at a ceremony held in the President House, Islamabad. The oath taking ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, Cabinet members, parliamentarians, and senior state officials.

Former information minister Qamar Zaman Qaira has been given the charge of Information and Broadcasting Ministry once again. Former federal Minister for Water and Power, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has been given Ministry of Information and Technology, Rana Mohammad Farooq Saeed Khan Environmental Change while Nazar Mohammad Gondal will minister Capital Administration and Development.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, who has been shifted from Information and Broadcasting Ministry to National Regulation & Services while Moula Bux Chandio will take charge of Political Affairs.

Whereas among Ministers of State are Imtiaz Safdar Warraich (Interior), Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan (Foreign Affairs), Tasneem Qureshi (Water & Power), Ali Shah Bokhari (Information and Broadcasting), Malik Azmat Khan (Inter-provincial Coordination),Miss Raheela Baloch (Science & technology) and Syed Sumsam and Moazzam Ali Jatoi (Food Security & Research).
