Gary Barlow delighted with X Factor UK return

The ‘Take That’ singer has voiced his pleasure on the return to the show for the next season after reports claimed that he will not be a part of Britain’s most watched singing competition. There were rumours stating that Simon Cowell is not impressed with Barlow’s impact in his maiden outing and wanted him to leave.

Barlow confirmed the news and insisted that he is thrilled to be back on the show for the next season and is looking forward to working with the same team. He added that last season was a great experience for him and is hopeful of winning the competition this time around.

“I’m thrilled to be back and really looking forward to working with the X Factor team again. The fact that a superstar could just walk out on that stage is very exciting,” he was quoted.

ITV director Peter Fincham claimed that it is great news for the team as X Factor wants experienced people like Gary to be part of the show and is looking forward to the next season.

“Gary quickly established himself as a key member of The X Factor judging panel, drawing on his years of experience in the music industry to help in the search for our undiscovered singing stars. I’m thrilled to welcome him back to the biggest show on British television,” he added.

On the other hand, Richard Holloway, who is the producer of the show, added that Gary Barlow has made a unique place for himself on the show and getting him back for the next season is great news.

“Gary brings his vast music expertise, his fabulous character and down-to-earth approach to the show and audiences adore him so we are absolutely delighted that he’s coming back,” Holloway concluded.

Gary Barlow will be joined by Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos for the next season whereas Kelly Rowland is yet to confirm her place.
