Most of the companies do not recommend social networking and other applications like web and stand-alone chatting. Therefore, the network administrators have to go through a series of restrictions and obligations to make it sure that the terminals are not allowed such computing. For this reason, these administrators love tablets because of simple operating system architecture and security layers.

Due to the reason Windows 8 is not out yet, a final verdict cannot be issued on its security. On the other hand, iOS is considered the more secured of the two, iOS and Android.  Due to the open-sourced nature of Android and its lack in security as compared to Apple, it attracts malicious software and viruses but that is to the minimal of risk. This kind of security can be handled aptly.

Employers love the fact that network administrators love tablets because of the secure environment and easy handling as compared to complex laptops and desktops.

No Moving Components

Although the contemporary wave of ultrabooks brings laptops that have no moving parts in them, the lids and the fans inside the chassis are still a threat to the employers on their durability when it comes to their usage in the field.

A laptop’s lid hinge is the most prone to damages, it might broke in different places where it will not be able to close or open. This poses a threat to productivity of employee’s work while on the field or even on the terminal. Besides, a good ultrabook costs twice the expense on a tablet.

Other conventional laptops that include an optical drive and a platter hard drive are even more inclined toward damages. The fan might refuse to work. DVD tray might say no to coming out. The desktops read the same story in this regard.
