Paoli Dam doesn’t want any comparisons with Sunny Leone or Poonam Pandey

The Indian Bengali actress, Paoli Dam, is under a lot of discussion these days because she has shocked the nation with her bold performance in Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘Hate Story’, which was released yesterday.

After seeing Paoli’s full blown love making scenes, nudity in fair portion and some really wild dialogues in the film many out there have started comparing her with the likes of the Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone, and Poonam Pandey but the actress has requested people not to compare her with anyone.

“As an actor I am choosy about the script and the projects that I do. But when I take a project, I don’t have any dilemma about it,” said Paoli.

“I want to do good cinema with good directors and banners. Script matters to me.

I am a newcomer and different people have their own way of growing. I don’t want to compare myself with anyone. For me bold is beautiful in its own way,” she added.

The 31-year-old, who came into prominence with her 2009 Bengali film ‘Kaalbela’, in the meantime also made it clear that she has full support from her family and they have no problems with her bold scenes.

“‘Hate Story’ is my first Bollywood launch. My parents and friends are very happy about it.

I have been bought up as an individual and my parents respect my decision (to do bold films).

I have my own individuality and, besides, I am an actress,” she said.

‘Hate Story’, which has been produced by Mahesh Bhatt, has featured Paoli Dam as the female lead whereas Gulshan Devaiya has played a role opposite to her. The film revolves around a girl who after getting betrayed crosses all the limits in order to take her revenge from a business tycoon.

Till now ‘Hate Story’ is doing well at the Indian Box Office but how much money it collects by the end of this Sunday is still to be seen.
