Floyd Mayweather: I‘ll let Barack Obama walk me to the ring holding my belt

The five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather, the current WBC welterweight champion, has passed on a flattering statement, in which he has said that he can make the president Barack Obama hold his belt, if he was to fight Manny Pacquiao, who is an eight-division world champion and currently the WBC welterweight champion.

“People want to know how much power Floyd Mayweather got, “said Mayweather during a recent television interview named- Speaking out.” I can guarantee you this. I‘ll show you how much power I got. If I was to fight Manny Pacquiao, I‘ll let Barack Obama walk me to the ring holding my belt. Can I make it happen? Absolutely.”

The undefeated American legend, who holds an incredible record of winning all of his 42 professional fights, with 26 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, will lock horns with Miguel Cotto on May 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

However, a dream-fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao is something which the boxing fans all over the world desperately want to see. Unfortunately the fight between the two pound-for-pound kings has not been made because Mayweather doesn’t want to offer a 50-50 split to the Filipino split and he still has not changed his mind.

The 35-year-old, also known as Money, insisted that he is the biggest draw in the sport and therefore Pacquiao doesn’t deserve a 50-50 split with him.

“I offered him $40 million,” continued Mayweather. ” He came back and said he want 50/50. If you are not doing Floyd Mayweather numbers in the box office or at the gate, if you are not doing record breaking numbers at the gate how can you possibly ask for 50/50?”

He concluded, ” I have nothing else to prove in this sport to nobody. Do I want the Manny Pacquiao fight before my career is over? Absolutely, but if it don’t happen it don’t happen.”

Pacquiao is currently set to face Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the same MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
