Steven Spielberg insisted that he takes his inspiration from fellow artist Clint Eastwood, who is still working at the age of 81.

Spielberg claimed that he has no plans to quit in the near future. He stated that Clint Eastwood is his best friend because of which he gets a lot of motivation to constantly work. He revealed that there is a conversation between
him and Eastwood regarding retirement and he always says that he will continue working until he dies.

“I have no plans to quit. Clint Eastwood is one of my best friends, and we have an almost jokey relationship about retirement. Clint’s 81 now, and I always say ‘Clint, are you ready to retire?’ he says ‘No, are you?’ I say ‘No’.
I’ve been waiting for the phone call that says Clint is hanging up his spurs. If it doesn’t happen for Clint, it’s not going to happen for me,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

‘The War Horse’ director admitted that he made the film for his daughter. He added that he was in London to watch the play when his daughter insisted that I should make it into a movie. He admitted that the concept was great and
he loved it.

“I was about to go to London to see the play for the first time. It made me cry and I loved it so much. My daughter said, ‘You have to make War Horse, you have to make it for me’. So I did,” he concluded.

Steven Spielberg is the creator of films like Jurassic Park, Transformer, The Extra Terrestrial and Jaws.
