Political chaos and options for opposition

There is complete political uncertainty in Pakistan after Supreme Court’s recent decision on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Announcing judgement a few days ago, the larger bench declared PM guilty in a case of contempt. Aitzaz Ahsan tried his best but his extraordinary skills could not save Gilani from punishment.

The great lawyer still believes PM can hold the public office whereas Pakistan Peoples Party’s opponents have an entirely different take on this.

Mian Nawaz Sharif, the head of Pakistan biggest opposition party, said in a press conference that after being sentenced by SC, Gilani is no more a part of Nation Assembly, which means he cannot hold the office.

Imran Khan, the leader of another opposition party, has already announced his strategy. He explained that he will be protesting on the roads if government does not accept the judgement of SC.

Despite the fact that both major opposition leaders are clear in their stance, there is plenty of uncertainly all across the country. The prime reason behind such a massive chaos is that no opposition leader is ready to launch protests.

Therefore, Gilani is in no trouble. Those who call Gilani a weak PM should change their mind because even the biggest opposition party could not stop him from coming to parliament a few days ago.

‘Actions speak lauder than words’ – a quotation describes present status of our opposition parties. The opposition leaders come on TV and criticise government but they never tried to take practical steps against Gilani and his company.

Since PM is under a bit of pressure following SC’s decision, it is an ideal chance for the opposition parties to launch their protest and send him home.

However, I still believe they would not do so, because they are in no mood of getting rid of this PM. The judges cannot come out themselves to ask PM to implement the ruling.

It is opposition’s responsibility to put pressure on the government and force Gilani to leave the office.

If Imran and Nawaz feel that Gilani is more a constitutional PM, what are they waiting for?

I tell you what Imran is waiting for Mr Rana. We all know ganja is not going to do any thing except bak bak

PTI will wait for assemblies to file motion which has to go through speaker of assembly then election commission and then back to Supreme court. This time sumpreme court will rule that Gilani is not the PM of Pakistan. This is a Democratic and legal way

PTI is nor in power neither in opposition. If PML believed in Democracy They should reign from assemblies that will automaticall call for new election.
Lekin sab jantay hain PML aisa nahe karege . Kyun ne PML, MQM aur ANP all with PPP mulk aur awaam ko lootne mein.
So sit back and relax till either new election is announced or PPP does not listen to direact order from supreme court
Our Youth is very precious to Pakistan and we do not want any blood shedd because of the begarat , haramee aur besharam PPP and PML leaders
