HTC One X (2012): Complete Review – Part 1

HTC Corporation launched a new handset HTC One X, sister smartphone to HTC One S released earlier in April. Even at first look, the phone offers a feel that the Taiwanese company has let go of the art-book that was used to design all the 2011 and prior models.

The newest instalment to the HTC One line is a notch down from the company’s premium handset, HTC One, but it surely beats every other to a punch. Although HTC One X’s US model is a tuned down version from the world wide release, with a dual-core processor instead of a quad-core brain, the device still shows the vitals of being the best in the bunch.

T-Mobile released HTC One S last month which dwelled on the carrier’s HSPA+ network, which officially is 4G, but AT&T’s HTC One X on blistering 4G LTE is just another experience. Though One S showed very promising download and upload speeds, it cannot not beat AT&T’s LTE network has boosts the download streams to a whopping 20 Mbps.

HTC brings a line of new features with the new One X including design, operating system and a very efficient amalgamation of both that results in impressive performance.

Design

Most of the latest premium smartphones from every manufacturer around the world boast unibody designs, and HTC fields One X. Goes away the patchy and segmented body parts and comes a firm structure that is forged in a single stroke.

However, unibody styles have their own drawbacks. One X’s battery is non-removable and there is not expandable memory slot, micro-SD card option.
