The singer has insisted that he has no plans to quit the reality show in the near future. There were rumours surrounding that the singer will not be part of the show from next season onwards as he has some commitments to fulfil.
However, Cee Lo has denied any such reports and has claimed that he would love to be part of the show in the years to come and admitted that all four judges are irreplaceable. He insisted that he enjoys doing the show and it has been a brilliant experience to find talent.
The ‘Forget Me’ singer is on the judges’ panel along with Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. The show has a unique concept as the judges get to select a contestant only on the basis of his/her voice and they get to see the singer only when they press the ‘I Want You’ button.
“I would like to think that we were irreplaceable, you know what I’m saying… But the truth of the matter is, we’re still working-class artists and artists can be very fickle. I would like to be here as long as it’s fresh and new and exciting and fun for me,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The musician also looked excited on the idea of all the four judges performing together. He admitted that it is a brilliant idea and insisted that the results will be great.
“Why not? Everybody’s talented. Everybody’s available and highly enthusiastic. I think everybody would be up for it, man, because it’s a great idea,” he concluded.
‘The Voice’ is currently into its second season and the contestants are performing on the Live Shows.
