Timothy Bradley says he doesn’t want any excuses from Manny Pacquiao after the fight

The undefeated American prospect, Timothy Bradley, the current WBO light welterweight champion, is fully charged ahead of the biggest fight of his career with the eight-division world champion and the current WBO welterweight champion of the world, Manny Pacquiao.

Bradley, who holds a record of winning all of his 29 professional fights (1 no contest), with 12 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, told the media that he doesn’t want his fight against Pacquiao to end with a head-butt or anything else because he doesn’t want the Filipino star to make any excuses after getting defeated.

Bradley insisted that he is working day in and day out for this fight and he will definitely avoid any head-butts.

“I definitely don’t want this fight to end on a head-butt,” Bradley told RingTV.com. “I don’t want a head-butt or a clash to happen, because I don’t want any excuses at the end of the day.

“I’ve been working on it in the gym, over and over and over. I’ve been very successful with it in sparring and keeping my balance… You know, throwing my shots before coming in with my head.

“Throwing my shots out and then stepping in as opposed to stepping in and throwing my shots.

“So I definitely have to try to avoid head-butts and just be smart in there, man. That’s pretty much it. But it’s not going to take away from my game plan,” he said.

Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao will fight on June 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao, who is rated as pound-for-pound the best in the world, will enter the ring as a red-hot favorite but let’s see if Bradley really shocks everyone by upsetting Pac-Man.
