Imran paid no tax in 35 years: claims opposition leader
Islamabad: (Monday, May 28, 2012) Leader of the opposition in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said today that how come a man like Imran Khan who paid no taxes in 35 years could hurl allegations against
others.
In a statement issued from his office, Ch. Nisar said that the ‘Insaf League’, instead of hurling a tsunami of lies and allegations, should come forward with truths before the nation.
He said, “No change will come through hollow slogans of a politically bankrupt novice like Imran Khan nor the turncoats of various political parties can provide a sound leadership to the country.”
Alleging Imran of neglecting most important of the issues the nation faced today, Nisar lamented that neither Imran nor any of his ‘rental party dignitaries’ dared to talk about NATO supply, unemployment and loadshedding.
Criticizing the PTI president Javed Hashmi, Nisar said that how a man like Hashmi who faced a humiliating defeat by a staggering 58,000 votes could challenge anyone in Rawalpindi.
Attributing Javed’s political career to Nawaz Sharif’s courtesy, Nisar said, “Javed Hashmi’s presence in National Assembly since 1993 had been due to the courtesy of Nawaz Sharif.”
