Timothy Bradley already preparing for Manny Pacquiao rematch

The undefeated American prospect, Timothy Bradley Jr, the current WBO Light Welterweight Champion, will fight Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is still more than a week to go in the fight but Bradley is already looking forward to a rematch against the Filipino star.

The eight-division world champion, Pacquiao, who currently holds the WBO Welterweight Championship belt, will enter the ring as a red-hot favorite on the fight night. However, Bradley believes he will be triumphant in the match as a result to which he has started forcing Pacquiao to ask for a second bout.

Bradley has made up a poster, in which he is showing people a rematch with Pacquiao on November 10, with tickets on sale on June 10 – the day after their first fight.

“November 10, Part 2,” Bradley said. “That’s how exciting this fight is going to be – you got two fighters that like to go toe-to-toe.”

“I’m not bowing down to nobody. When I step foot in the ring, it’s my ring. I own it, not Manny. He’s going to bounce to my rhythm, he’s gonna do what I want him to do,” he added.

Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, was asked in order to confirm the news. Arum admitted that the rematch clause has been included in the contract.

Arum said that if Pacquiao somehow loses to Bradley, there will be an immediate rematch between the two.

“Well, it’s clear that we put in the contract that if Bradley were to beat Pacquiao, there’s an immediate rematch,” he said. “We’ve done that with the (Juan Manuel) Marquez fight. We’ve done it with (Shane) Mosley.”

“It’s a normal thing to do in this situation.”

“Bradley is very confident that he’s going to win the fight, so he had some paraphernalia done, which reflects his confidence,” he said.

Timothy Bradley holds a record of winning all of his 29 professional fights (1 no contest), with 12 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout. He is also ranked in the top 10 of many pound-for-pound lists. Therefore, it is fair to say that Pacquiao will have to put in his best to win.
