PML-N leader gunned down in Swat
Swat: (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) Swat, that had been exhibiting peace after painfuly prolonged period of militancy has started to witness the revival of chaos as today some unknown gunmen opened fire on the Pakistan Muslim League
Nawaz (PMLN-N) local leader Afzal Khan in Kanju who succumbed to the injuries later on.
Sharing the details, the police told the news reporters that the attackers ambushed Afzal Khan as soon he left his house. The indiscriminate firing left Afzal severely injured.
He was immediately shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital, however, the wounds proved to be fatal and he could not survive from the injuries.
Investigations have been started into this tragic incident.
