US Drone attack leaves 4 dead in North Waziristan

South Waziristan: (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) A recent drone strike today by US has killed four people in North Waziristan.

According to a security official, the unmanned US drone fired two missiles at a car on the Esha-Razmak Road. The number of causalities is expected to rise.

Earlier, 15 men were killed on June 4 when a US drone fired four missiles on a compound in Mir Ali sub-division, North Waziristan.

According to a tribesman, who was an eye witness to the incident, the compound was razed to the ground after the attack.

Pakistan has been condemning the US drone attacks on its territory. The Pakistani foreign minister has called the drone attacks illegal and said that they violate the sovereignty of the country.
