The story does not end at this. To state the obvious, Condition One has a lot of potential to become the market leader in this business that ultimately has been pioneered by Dennis and Chang. Investor and businessman Mark Cuban has invested $500,000 in Condition One for research and development of the new technology. Though the company has reached a pinnacle of video watching in recording clips, it is still working on the same evolution in live footage.

The first presentation of the new technology in live filming fill be delivered at TechStars’ Demo Day in New York. Chang and Dennis are working day in and day out to bring the final product to the presentation. However, the consumer version is almost a year away from release, the developers’ version is almost ready to roll.

Condition One has arranged for licensing agreements with the likes of Mercedes, The Guardian, Discovery Communications and Popular Science.

“Our goal is to work with as many marquee names in as many different verticals as possible and then let them get creative with the software,” Chang said.

Cuban, the major stake holder in the project also plans to use the technology in his upcoming service AXS.TV. It is the revamped version of HDNet which is scheduled to go online this summer. Condition One will be charging monthly fee to all the enterprises.

Currently, Condition One is a team of seven employees, four out of whom are working part-time. Chief Product Officer Takaaki Okada and Chief Technology Officer Julian Gomez have joined the club and are working hard and fast to bring the final consumer product to the market as soon as possible.

Condition One plans to include live footages like NBA huddles, live concerts, war reporting and tourism promotions into the equation.
