The ultimate diva of Bollywood industry, Kareena Kapoor, has taken a dig at the likes of Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha, who are known in the industry for their curves.
‘The Dirty Picture’ heroine, Vidya, and ‘Rowdy Rathore’ heroine, Sonakshi, have always opposed the size-zero concept since they believe a woman only looks nice with curves. However, Kareena, who introduced the concept in the Indian filmmaking industry, thinks that being big is not cool at all.
The actress has indirectly taken a dig at Balan and Sinha by saying that any woman who says she doesn’t want to be thin is taking nonsense.
Though Kareena admitted a woman should be voluptuous, she said being fat is not on at all.
Kareena said, “I have gone back to the size-zero look I had in Tashan, but this time it is curvier. I wanted this body for my item song in the film. Since it is a rigorous and raunchy number, I decided to go for a slim and sexy look. But I still have curves in the right places. It may be a trend now with some actors, but I definitely don’t want to look plump or fat!”
She added, “Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn’t want to be thin is talking nonsense. It’s every girl’s dream.”
In the end, Kareena, who is considered as the most profitable B’town actress, revealed that her dietician Rujuta Diwekar has developed a challenging diet for her so she could shape up her body.
The actress insisted, “The key to a sexy figure is a great diet, combined with the right exercise.”
Well, all said and done, Kareena Kapoor has not mentioned any names in her statement; it is not hard for anyone to figure out that who she is talking about here.
