Inquiry Commission meets two more girls from Kohistan

Karachi: (Saturday, June 16, 2012) Two more girls were presented before the inquiry commission constituted on the orders of the Supreme Court to probe into the Kohistan Video scandal.

However, notwithstanding with this proof, human rights activist, Farzana Bari has said that the identities of the two girls are controversial.

The inquiry commission consists of Commissioner Hazara Division Khalid Khan Umarzai, Justice Muneera Abbasi, DCO Kohistan Aqaal Badshah, DPO Abdul Majeed Afridi and human rights activist Farzana Bari

Two more girls were presented before the commission as latter reached union council Paij Baila’s village Gadar. Inhabitants of the area said that no incident of killing the girls took place in the village.

Talking to media, provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar said that members of the commission are satisfied with the witnesses and evidences.

Talking to the journalists, Farzana Bari said that she is not sure about the identity of the girls, who were presented before the commission.
