Emraan Hashmi says actor’s individuality is more important than his personality

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is one of the most dependable stars in the Hindi filmmaking industry at this point in time. He made his debut in 2003 with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Footpath’ after which many thought he would not go far due to his looks but today he stands next to the leading actors of the industry.

When asked Emraan, he said for him physical features are not much important. The actor insisted that he has seen many phases in his career thus far and he has come to a conclusion that physical features are the by-product of an actor’s individuality.

Emraan said, ”I have seen the highs and lows in my career. There was a point in my career when I had three flops in a row and didn’t know what to do next. Thankfully, JANNAT came my way and it changed the game for me. Moreover, I will call myself fortunate for having done various roles and played characters that have been aspirational and relatable, something which the youth of today can identify with.”

He added, ”For me the actor’s individuality is more important than his personality. The audiences need convincing characters to relate to. I think, I have been able to do that and that explains why my films work at the box office.”

Well, all said and done, Emraan Hashmi, who has become increasingly popular in the country, is all set to romance Vidya Balan now in Rajkumar Gupta’s upcoming film ‘Ghanchakkar’.

Emraan and Vidya both entertained the audiences in the last year’s blockbuster ‘The Dirty Picture’ as a result to which they have started gaining a lot of media limelight since people anxiously want to see both star together again.

Meanwhile, the actor is also participating in promoting his upcoming film ‘Raaz 3’.

Let’s see if Emraan Hashmi brings something new for his fans this time.
