PM Ashraf calls on President Zardari

Islamabad: (Tuesday, June 26, 2012) Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf called on President Asif Ali Zardari here today to share with him the steps the government is going to take to overcome the energy crisis in the
country.

According to the presidential spokesperson, during the meeting between President and the Prime Minister, the present situation with regard to the lingering energy crisis remained a focus point of discussion.

PM Ashraf informed the president about the steps that are being taken to increase the electricity production in the country and to improve the economic situation of Pakistan.

Steps towards controlling the gas loadshedding were also discussed during the meeting.
