Veena Malik excited about the release of ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’

Veena Malik’s first Bollywood film ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’ hits the cinema halls in India today and the actress is pretty excited about it.

The Pakistani starlet Veena Malik has always stayed in the news for wrong reasons in the country. Malik, who gained media limelight during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, tasted success for the first time with her item song ‘Channo’ in the film ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ and since then she has been on the road to stardom.

The controversial queen recently had an exclusive interview with ‘The Express Tribune’, in which she admitted that she is pretty excited about the release of her first film.

“I am excited and happy about the release of my film Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai,” said Veena excitedly. “There will be 700 prints released in India alone!” she exclaimed.

“This is my first Bollywood film that will be released worldwide. Let’s see how it goes, pehli pehli baar hai (it’s my first time),” said the 28-year-old with enthusiasm.

‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’, which has been directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, will feature Malik in a double role – one of a beautiful angel and the other of a starlet who cons a man to get his newly acquired wealth.

The actress earlier had stated that she will do the double role comfortably because she is doing a double role in her real life as well.

“Playing a double role onscreen is new for me. But in my personal life I actually play the role of two girls — one is Zahida Malik (her real name) and the other is Veena Malik,” she said. ““I am sure if I can play a double role in real life, it will be exciting to play a double role in a movie,” she added.

Along with Veena Malik, the film will feature the likes of Jackie Shroff, Vijay Raaj, Aanand Balraj, Raja Chaudhry and two Pakistani comedians Irfan Malik and Hasan Ali.

Well, all said and done, let’s see what response Veena Malik gets from the audiences.
