Bengali version of ‘Dirty Picture’ stalled; Rakhi Sawant wants to commit suicide!

The Bengali version of ‘The Dirty Picture’, which was being made by the director-producer Satabdi Roy, has been stalled after Ekta Kapoor objected to its title and this news has made Rakhi Sawant pretty upset as she was set to play the lead role in the film.

Ekta produced the ‘The Dirty Picture’ last year, in which she casted Vidya Balan, was an unofficial biopic of late southern sex symbol Silk Smitha. The film did an excellent record at the box office and the also brought Balan her first National Award.

However, now when the film has been stalled, India’s very own item girl, Rakhi Sawant, is just hoping that her friend Ekta withdraws her complaint.

“My producer got the letter from Balaji. My producer will revert to them. I don’t want to comment on it right now. I am very depressed because the film is not happening,” Rakhi told IANS.

She added: “My only message to Ekta Kapoor is that I love her, I just love her. She is my idol. I respect her a lot, she is also a women like me, I hope she understands me. I am sure Ekta ‘meri zindagi mein taang nahi aadagegi’.”

While speaking on her inclusion, Sawant told the media that this was her first Bollywood film and therefore she was very excited about it. The actress further claimed that she would have done the film in a much better way than Balan.

“I was very excited about the Bengali version of ‘The Dirty Picture’. I even started learning Bengali for the film. I know I am sexy, there is nobody sexier than me. I am perfect for ‘The Dirty Picture’,” the 33-year-old said.

In the end, an irked Sawant insisted that she is not a superstar like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. She said she also has to pay her bills but the government just wants to focus us to trend the wrong path!

She concluded, “After farmers, now stars will commit suicide! And I really mean it because there is no other option left!”

Well, all said and done, let’s see how Ekta Kapoor responds to Rakhi Sawant.
