A $100 is a lot if you want to spend it is a day or two. Movies, books, theatre are some of alternatives that might get your something worth your while. However, a hundred bucks on something that might last more than two or three years with careful use is a steal.

There are many things in the market that can be purchased for a $100 but the electronic devices have no reciprocal to them. For that kind of money what you can get is something related to personal or mobile computing or something for your home theatre.

Here are some things that you might find in the market that have a price tag of a hundred dollars or less.

Apple TV

Though the full-fledge television from Apple is still in the making and is nowhere an official release this year, Apple fanatics can make do with the company’s media-streaming device called the Apple TV. The device is available for $99, online or on the top shelves at super stores.

Though last year’s iteration of device was competitively good hosting a number of third-party media streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, the 2012 model brings a new interface and full HD (1080p) compatibility to the package.

Now, the users can watch full HD videos and TV shows online in the same charges that were paid for the 720p or standard display (SD) content. Moreover, the company has included more services to the equation.

AirPlay has been improved and now the user can clone the home screen on a bigger display legally and wirelessly.

Roku LT

Roku HD’s newest release with a 720p enhancement was released this year and the device is up for grabs for $99 but the $50 LT is still the king. You can still watch HD videos in 720p resolution and truth be told, 1080p does not make a lot of difference to pay extra 50 bucks for the HD model.
