Six more shot dead in Karachi

Karachi: (Monday, July 16, 2012) As worsened law and order situation continues to exacerbate in economic hub of Pakistan – Karachi, six more people have been reported dead in past 24 hours, said the police and Shhipa sources today.

According to details, two men were shot dead and another was injured in Malir, in the area of Khokhrapar Police station. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Ayaz son of Suleman, Amanullah son of Muhammad Akran while the injured
was identified as Ahmed Ali son of Gulzar Chandio. Their respective ages were 30, 22 and 35 years.

The deceased and the injured were immediately shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and later the bodies were handed over to the heirs.

Moreover, in a firing incident near Tibet Centre at M.A Jinnah Road, a 30-year old man known as Abdul Sattar son of Abdullah was killed. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico legal formalities.

In another incident in Malir area near Token Stop, a 35-year old man Tausif Rahman son of Suleman was shot dead. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Moreover, an elderly man was gunned down in Sultanabad, Manghopir. While the identification of the deceased could not be ascertained, his body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In yet another firing incident, 35-year-old Mubarak Ali son of Mehboob Ali was killed in Baldia Town No 5. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Moreover, a three-day old bullet riddled body was found in Shah Rasool Colony. It was shifted to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical College where the 30-year old deceased was identified as Ami Ali.
