Veena Malik: For me marriage is a beautiful thing!

The controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, who has always locked headlines for wrong reasons, was all set for her marriage when she participated in her reality show ‘Veena Ka Swayamvar’. However, unfortunately the show was aborted after the channel ‘Imagine’ decided to close down its operations.

At that time, the actress was left puzzled and she stated that she thinks her marriage plans are jinxed.

This time when ‘The Express Tribune’ contacted Ms Malik, she said marriage is a beautiful thing for her but she still thinks her marriage plans are jinxed.

She told The Express Tribune, “For me marriage is a beautiful thing. I believe that you live once, you die once and you marry once.”

“From my parents to my two elder siblings who are married, I have only seen love grow. For me, marriage is all about growing old. It’s about tying the knot with your best friend,” she said.

“However, like I said before, my marriage plans have always been jinxed!” she added.

During the interview, the 28-year-old was also asked about the idea of living in a joint family arrangement.

Veena said, “The joint family system is a beautiful thing. It’s very exciting. But I have been living on my own since I was 14 years old, so I missed the love of a joint family system. If I marry a guy whose family wants to live with me, I won’t mind people around me. It’s a beautiful idea.”

While speaking on her inclusion, the actress revealed that she needs to be pampered all the time.

Well, all said and done, Veena’s reality show ‘Veena Ka Swayamvar’ might never come back now but let’s hope she finds her Mr. Right.

Veena Malik, who rose to fame during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, is currently participating in the remake of Vidya Balan’s ‘Dirty Picture’ due to which she is gaining a lot of media limelight in the country.
