White Nights International Challenge: Dmytro Zavadsky claims Men’s Singles title with grace

Dmytro Zavadsky, the ace shuttler from Ukraine, made his presence felt to the world as he claimed Men’s Singles title after thrashing his higher ranked opponent Przemyslaw Wacha of Poland in the title match at 2012 White Nights International Challenge in
Russia, last week.

The third seeded Dmytro, who was in his prime form, showed his elevated skills and overpowered his Polish challenger in an interesting battle and won the crown.

The in-form Dmytro played quivering badminton in first game but found his rhythm and grabbed the following sets to register a sensational victory over Wacha.

The experienced Wacha, on the other hand, showed his impressive class in opening set but failed to maintain his upper hand over Zavadsky in the following games and lost the battle in rubber sets.
