Chinese consulate blast: Sketch of the suspect released

Karachi: (Wednesday, July 26, 2012) following the bomb blast outside the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, the police has released a sketch of the suspect.

As per the details shared by the CID officials, the motorcycle used in the blast and the other one found abandoned near the Chinese Consulate the other day with explosives strapped on it had been bought by the same man identified
as Qasim.

The explosives on the second motorcycle had been successfully made ineffective. The investigation has revealed that the suspect had bought this motorcycle from a shop located along Akbar Road.

The CID police have drawn out the sketch of the suspect with the description provided by the shopkeeper.

According to police, the suspect is a resident of Manghopir area, Pirabad.
