President Zardari chairs high level meeting

Islamabad: (Thursday, July 26, 2012) President Asif Ali Zardari here today chaired a high level meeting at the Aiwan-e-Sadr to review the state affairs.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam chief Chaudhry Shujaat, Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani
and senior party leaders.
According to the sources, matters pertinent to current affairs, national and regional and security situation came under discussion during the meeting.
The situation after reopening of Ground Lines of Communication (GLOCs) for NATO supplies and future Pakistan-US relations were also hashed out in the meeting, the sources added.
