Squad named for Pakistan Women’s Team

The PFF has announced a host of names that will be training under Tariq Lutfi for the Women’s SAFF Cup.

After the Federation’s decision to send the side to Colombo, skipper Sana Mehmud expressed her delight and revealed that it was every footballer’s dream to represent their country.

“I’m all excited because we will finally be attending a national camp. It’s something big for us because we hardly get to represent the country abroad and any opportunity is precious. It’s an honour we wait for as footballers,” she said.

The team are going to be training in Lahore and 39 probables have been announced, who should be drafted into a 25- player squad.
