Premier League to start in September

According to a statement made by the PFF, the Pakistan Premier League will kick-off in September after Eid.

Pakistan’s top flight will start once again in its 2012/13 edition, with the ball rolling in September. The likes of WAPDA, KRL, PIA and Army will vying for the top spot, which was gathered by Tariq Lutfi’s team last time out.

The veteran tactician also an Asian campaign to look forward to, as his team play in the latter stages of AFC President’s Cup.

However, balancing the League and Asian commitments could prove to be an unwanted hassle, especially with the fixtures spread out in various cities, which include Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Nushki, Chaman, Faisalabad and Chaman.
