Bomb blast in Turbat kills 4 security officials

Quetta: (Tuesday, August 8, 2012) In a bomb blast targeting security officials in Turbat, at least 4 security men have been killed while many others have sustained injuries.

According to the details, the bomb was planted alongside a road in Turbat’s Shapik area. The voice of powerful explosion was heard even in the areas quite far from the centre of the incident.

As per the initial reports received from the security officials, the Deputy Commissioner of Balochistan has confirmed killing of four security men belonging to Balochistan Constabulary. The total number of injured personnel has
been reported to be 10.

According to Levies sources, the blast also damaged a vehicle of Balochistan Constabulary and injured its several personnel.
