PTI, AML to form alliance in coming elections

for the upcoming general elections.
According to the sources, the meeting took place here at Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala today. The meeting concluded with the two leaders finalizing the formation of the electoral alliance.
The meeting culminated on the consensus between the two parties to jointly take part in the next elections and to support each other’s candidates. The PTI also agreed to not to field its candidate against Sheikh Rasheed.
The sources knowing details of the meeting claimed that Imran Khan will formally announce the electoral alliance of PTI and the AML during the Sheikh Rasheed’s public gathering, scheduled to be held in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi,
on August 13.
Before the rally in Liaquat Bagh just a day before the independence day, the leaders will meet once again to finalize the modalities, claimed the sources.
