TimeSplitters 4 gets support from fans

In a recent interview by VG247 to Cevat Yerli, Crytek president shared that interest by the fans for the sequel of TimeSplitters series, is quite high, but acknowledged that it is still not enough to see a new game being developed.

The manager said: “I myself have tried through my official blog response from the community, and although it has been quite high, I think it still is not enough.”

The statements come a collation of a recent campaign by the company that called for players to get to 100,000 users on the Facebook page of the game page that currently exceeds the 29,000 narrowly. Still Yerli has promised there will be surprises on the future of the series.

“Having said that, we’ve been rethinking what to do with the series, and now I can only say that we may have some surprises that we will disclose soon.”

TimeSplitters is a FPS game series developed by Free Radical Entertainment, a company that has been renamed Crytek UK after being acquired by it, since its first delivery has enjoyed the favor of critics and audiences.

The latest installment, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, was released in 2005 for PlayStation 2, and since it is unknown whether the franchise will continue.
