Sunny Leone: I think one should live life the way they want!

The Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, who became a household name in India during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, made her Bollywood debut last Friday with Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ and now she is thinking seriously about her B’town career.

The 31-year-old adult actress, who faced a lot of criticism in the country, garnered much appreciation for her successful Bollywood debut and it looks as if with appreciation, she is also gaining confidence.

In one of the recent interviews, Leone, who was rated among the top 12 porn stars of the world by Maxi magazine in 2010, said that she believes Indian youth is now ready to see her on their television sets because they want to see something different now.

“I did not think that people will like me because of my background, like what I do for my living in the US. I was not sure if it would be accepted here,” Sunny told IANS.

“I think the young generation of people are ready to see someone like me on TV. Otherwise I would not be here. I think one should live life the way they want regardless of what people think about you,” she added.

Leone’s ‘Jism 2’, in which Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh played roles opposite to her, did an excellent business at the box office. The film, which was made with a total cost of 6 to 7 crores, racked in over 21 crore in Its opening weekend.

When Leone was asked to share her thoughts over the film, she said ‘Jism 2’ will always remain a very special film for her not because its her first Bollywood film but because it has a wonderful storyline.

“It’s been almost 12 years or so… I have done everything under the sun, did everything that is wrong as per Indian culture. (For Jism 2), I fell in love with the story. I loved reading it again and again, and this film will always be special for me,” she said.
