Foreign Office terms DG ISI’s visit to US positive

Islamabad: (Friday, August 10, 2012) Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Moazzam Ahmad Khan said here today that Pakistan and the USA are working out on proposals to further the mutual ties.
Khan, who was briefing the journalists over the relations between the two countries who also happen to be the allies against war on terror, said that Director General Inter Services Intelligence’s (ISI) visit to the US was positive
and productive.
Commenting on the deteriorating political and social situation in Syria, the spokesman of the foreign office said that Pakistan is concerned over the deteriorating situation in Syria. He also said that Pakistan is perturbed to
learn about the plight of Muslims in Burma.
